THE HAWAIIAN & PACIFIC COLLECTIONS, THE UH-MANOA CENTER FOR PACIFIC ISLANDS STUDIES AND THE UH-MANOA CENTER FOR SOUTH ASIAN STUDIES PRESENT: Opeta Alefaio Director of the National Archives of Fiji Girmitya Records at the National Archives of Fiji As part of the Hawaiian & Pacific Collections Occasional Lecture Series, Mr. Opeta Alefaio , Director of the National Archives of Fiji, will discuss histories of migration and diaspora that can be discovered through records held in his institution. These multi-strand histories in turn tell a larger, ongoing story about the evolving Pacific.
